The late Cecil Shannon founded Shannon’s Hot Potato Chips in the mid 40’s. Shannon’s Chips quickly became a well-known icon of Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.Through the early years Cec Shannon became famous for operating Shannon’s Chips out of Double Decker Buses, before upgrading to custom built trailers.
Now in their 3rd Generation Shannon’s Chips have become a much-loved favourite, attending events throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
Shannon’s Chips specialise in delivering only the freshest Hot Potato Chips using A grade potatoes. Washing, peeling and cooking chips on demand in Shannon’s special blend. Shannon’s Chips have earned their reputation and respect over the years for their fresh, fast and reliable product. Shannon’s Chips is a registered food vendor complying with all relevant food-handling requirements.
